Our Philosophy
Inspired by the wisdom of traditional nourishment, we set out to reimagine the way we care for our communities from the inside out. We wanted every broth, every ingredient, every meal to be created with the same intention we bring to our own home.
Why? Because the body remembers what we feed it.
Warmth, minerals, collagen, plants, herbs, bone, root, time, words, intention, LOVE — these simple things have supported women, families, and communities for centuries. In a world of shortcuts and synthetic solutions, we return to what is real, regenerative, and whole.
So we came back to the slow-simmering pot.
Small batches. Long love-filled simmering. Organic vegetables, bones, and herbs from local farmers. Broths made by hand, with patience, not preservatives. Rituals instead of replacements.
You can feel, smell, and taste the difference.
It has changed our relationship with nourishment, postpartum recovery, and daily vitality — and we hope it brings the same grounding strength to you.
Love,
Sabine (aka the broth mother)

Our Promise
Trusted quality
Nothing enters our pots that does not serve your body. No fillers. No artificial flavors. No stabilizers. Only the highest quality whole ingredients, carefully chosen for nourishment and ease. Every element is filled with love.
Organic Ingredients
We work directly with local and regenerative farmers who honour their soil, seeds animals, and waters.
Guaranteed nourishment
If your experience feels anything less than nourishing, we will gladly make it right with a replacement, a refund, or guidance toward the right broth for your current stage of life.
*Designed to support, not replace, a varied and balanced diet.
Small batches
All of our broths are crafted by hand in small batches, simmered slowly under high pressure for depth, strength, and the perfect natural ‘jellyness’. No shortcuts. No industrial kitchens. Just patience, intention and heat.
Our Story
Phood Kitchen began long before it had a name.
In the Devon hills, where Sabine and Tim studied intensively with a Taoist tai chi master, we learned that nourishment should be simple, natural, and slow. Like a broth!
From that foundation, our paths unfolded.
Sabine into food and nourishment.
Tim into business, movement and transformation.
Different expressions of the same teachings.
Together we built Phood Kitchen.
It grew from a broth truck into a restaurant, a farm, a holistic workshop space and a community table. A place where people would come for warmth, care, clarity, inspiration and strength.
Then parenthood invited us into a deeper understanding of nourishment. With our son Nathaniel’s arrival, we felt again how deeply the body — and the family — needs minerals, warmth, and ease. How a simple broth can steady and restore.
This, what was once our roots, became our focus.
Step by step we let go of our restaurant as it once was and as from today, Phood Kitchen simply offers broth bundles and meals for life’s tender transitions — postpartum recovery, cleansing seasons, immunity, and the gentle return to balance.
We still cook our broths the way we always have: slowly, intentionally, from the heart. And now we bring this nourishment to your home through our broths, meals and online recipe guide ‘The Broth Bible’ on substack.
From our kitchen to yours.
